Dom Mintoff showing signs of improvement but still in ITU

Mater Dei Hospital said in a statement this afternoon that the former Prime Minister, Dom Mintoff, 95, is showing signs of improvement. He however is still considered to be in a serious condition and still requires further intervention in the Intensive Therapy Unit. The former Labour Leader was admitted to hospital on Wednesday.
