Ersilja Gatt’s 100th birthday celebrations held in Victoria

A thanks-giving Mass was recently celebrated by the Gatt family of Victoria at St Augustine’s Convent in Victoria, on the occassion of their mother Ersilja’s 100th birthday. Mrs Catherine Gonzi presented Mrs Gatt with a memento. The Minister for Gozo, Giovanna Debono also attended the celebration.

Tourists visiting the Maltese islands down by 18.7% in March

Inbound tourists in March totalled 80,980, a decrease of 18.7 per cent over the corresponding month last year. Total nights spent stood at 637,450, with an average length of stay of 7.9 nights. French Ambassador for Malta visits the Mayor of Victoria

The new French Ambassador for Malta Monsieur Michel Vandepoorter recently paid a courtesy visit to the Mayor of Victoria, Dr Samuel Azzopardi, in his first visit to the island of Gozo.
