Young cyclist from Xewkija critically injured in traffic accident

A 13-year old boy from Xewkija has been transferred to Mater Dei this afternoon in a critical condition after he was involved in an accident. The incident took place as the young boy was struck by a car while he was riding his bicycle in the village. An enquiry is underway with Magistrate P Coppini.
